Trans.eu and project44 have signed a partnership agreement. It provides for the U.S.-based startup offering Trans.eu customers visibility services, or the ability to monitor deliveries in real time. The deal was officially announced on May 10 at Transport Logistic 2023 Fair in Munich.
Thanks to the agreement and mutual integration, Trans.eu’s European customers will gain the ability to track their shipments and freight in real time directly from the Trans.eu platform. Both manufacturing companies (known as shippers) and freight forwarders and carriers will be able to benefit from the effects of cooperation between the companies. All these actors will soon enjoy the ability to monitor shipments via a single tool, without having to log into any system other than Trans.eu.

The resulting service that we provide to our customers is tailored to their needs. The product will make it possible in practice to integrate the fleet of a carrier registered in project44 with Trans.eu “through a single click”, without entering passwords, logins or even without the carrier logging into project44. In terms of user friendliness, the visibility service just doesn’t get any simpler than that. Instant monitoring with a single click
The Trans.eu platform is predominantly spot market transactions, which are much more difficult to monitor in real time for a number of reasons. However, both companies assure that real-time visibility will be ensured with this type of transport as well. To begin monitoring the transport even for single transactions on the Trans.eu platform, all it takes is the consent of both parties. “This is the first such advanced and user-friendly solution on the market, developed hand in hand by a global real-time visibility provider and a freight exchange platform” – Kosturek notes.
