From 30 to 120 minutes of saved time in optimizing usage of loading space – this is just one of the benefits of using Goodloading, a 3D loading planning application. Meanwhile, the developers of this software, which has become popular throughout the logistics world, are not standing still, and we can now see a new version of the planner. The market is introducing a version with many improvements and a series of algorithms designed to maximize the use of loading space on trailers, containers, or pallets.

  • Since the official launch on the market, we have received a lot of compliments about our simulator. Most of them were related to the time – very fast learning and savings in a daily work up to 2 hours. That’s how much a logistics specialist can spend calculating how to make the most of the available cargo space..

Despite the good reviews from the market, the creators of Goodloading have been working on a completely new solution for three years.

  • In addition to favorable comments, our customers often asked us about new functionalities, which could not be implemented without a completely new approach to the code. That’s why we decided to rewrite Goodloading, and we can now boast a new version of the planner..

What has changed in the new version of the planner?

The creators, in collaboration with scientists, invested in mathematical engines and new algorithms, including those that learn with each project created by the employee. This allowed for the addition of features that should please both current and new users.

Since the beginning of April, users have been able to work in the new version of the application, which is still undergoing programming work. This way, the creators can gather feedback and comments from planners to take them into account when developing the tool.

  • Just as working on the development of the previous version of the application, so in the new one, user feedback is extremely important to us. Despite the implementation of the new tool, we will continue to develop and introduce further improvements to meet the requirements of planners..

In the new version of the application, the following features have been added:

support for oval objects such as barrels and pipes
dynamic palletization, which allows loaded pallets to be moved onto the vehicle
milkrun function, allowing multiple loading and/or unloading points to be added
marking the center of gravity of the container and the cargo itself
the ability to add information about a refrigeration unit or wheel arches inside the vehicle
the ability to add information about the size of container doors
handling of air freight containers
an extended stacking function
the ability to arrange the cargo at any angle
the ability to integrate with external ERP/TMS/WMS class systems or route planners

How to test the new version of the application?

Goodloading provides all new users with 2 weeks of free access. Simply log in to the application using the form on the website. During this time, the user can test the full version of the planner and see what benefits it will bring to them when planning the loading.
